This film was created to document an Artist Inspiration Trip at the Ventnor Fringe Festival on the Isle of Wight, commissioned by Crying Out Loud as part of our ongoing collaboration.
Bringing videography to one of the UK’s most distinctive fringe festivals, the project focused on capturing the experience of artists engaging with the programme, the landscape, and each other. Through a considered approach to event videography, the film reflects both the atmosphere of Ventnor Fringe and the creative exchange at the heart of the trip.
Port of Call Media provided videography across multiple locations, documenting performances, informal moments, and the wider festival environment. The aim was to create a piece that could both represent the experience authentically and support future promotion in line with funding requirements.
As part of our Isle of Wight filming work, the project also highlights the island as a setting for cultural production, showcasing its venues, coastline, and creative community.
The final film offers a clear, engaging record of the programme, designed to resonate with artists considering future participation while supporting the wider visibility of theatre and cultural events at Ventnor Fringe.
