Port of Call Media is a south coast video production company, founded by people who wanted to make work they're proud of. Having spent years in film and television, we know what it takes to make great work, and we know what gets in the way.
Today we work with culture makers and corporate innovators, celebrating culture and helping to shape it.
We want to raise the standards of video production for culture makers and corporate innovators. Good enough is not enough.
We set up Port of Call Media to be able to work at a standard we’re proud of, celebrating and contributing to culture and taking what we learned working in the film and TV Industry whilst shedding the bureaucracy that stops creativity in its tracks.

Tom Byrne
Head of Production
I’ve been a filmmaker for ten years now – I’ve been lucky to have been given the space and opportunities to develop my craft with so many amazing collaborators and clients on meaningful projects along the way.
Alex Malcolm
Head of Post-Production
A BAFTA nominated and Grierson award winning colourist and online editor. Having worked on a range of documentaries for BBC, ITV and Channel 4, Alex is in charge of the Post-Production workflows, making sure it's all smooth sailing throughout. Alex has a keen eye for detail and won't settle for 'good enough', making sure everything is the best it can be.
