Live Show Recording & Photography / 2025 / The Young Creatives
This production was created as part of the National Theatre Connections programme. Connections is the National Theatre’s annual, nationwide youth theatre festival. Every year, Connections commissions new plays for young people to perform. The programme brings together some of the UK’s most exciting writers with the theatre-makers of tomorrow.
We were commissioned to capture both the live theatre production in video and photography, capturing the energy of the performances alongside the bold, game-inspired visual design. The vibrant lighting and colourful set and costume reflected the show’s themes of online spaces, avatars, and digital personas.
Our approach focused on preserving the atmosphere of the performance while keeping the performers at the centre of the frame. The resulting film and stills provide a lasting record of the show, celebrating its visual identity and emotional impact beyond the stage.
