This film was commissioned by Crying Out Loud to document an Artist Inspiration Trip to 101 Outdoor Studios in Newbury, centred around the development of Walk of the Dandelion.
The project follows Daniel, an 8-foot puppet - an ancient, earth-bound figure who moves through public space offering small moments of connection. Through gentle interaction, he invites audiences to pause, reflect, and engage, gifting dandelions with messages of encouragement.
Port of Call Media provided theatre videography and arts documentation, capturing both the experience of the trip and the evolving nature of the work. Filming focused on process, observing how artists responded to the piece and how it unfolded within a shared space.
The aim was to create a film that reflects the tone and intention of the project, while supporting future promotion and engagement in line with funding requirements.
