The Solent Seascape Project is a collaborative, long-term initiative dedicated to restoring a variety of vital habitats within the Solent Strait, a rich and diverse estuarine ecosystem nestled between the Isle of Wight and mainland England.
Port of Call Media partnered with the Solent Seascape Project to document the reintroduction of oysters into the River Hamble at Warsash; an important step in the effort to restore local marine biodiversity.
Our team captured the full process, from the cleaning and preparation of the oysters, to the loading onto the boat, and finally their release back into the river. The resulting film showcases the environmental impact of the project, highlighting the collaborative effort between the Blue Marine Foundation team and the local community.
